How it all came to be…
My journey into photography began at 14, when I started bringing my camera to the barn to capture heartfelt moments between my friends and their horses. At the time, I couldn't afford a horse of my own, but photography became my way of connecting with the equine community. What started as a creative outlet quickly grew into something more—taking me to shows across the country, introducing me to lifelong friends, and eventually leading to the incredible opportunity of owning my first horse at 16, for just $1.
As my passion for photography developed, I naturally expanded into portraiture—experimenting with lighting, composition, and technique by photographing friends who were always willing to be my models. Later, I found myself running my own small rabbit rescue, using my skills to showcase each animal's personality through images that helped grow my social media presence and, most importantly, find them loving forever homes.
While I always dreamed of photographing nature, I hadn't lived in a place that made that possible—until moving to Colorado. Now, with a strong foundation in storytelling, animal, and portrait photography, I'm excited to pursue even more of what I love: capturing honest, beautiful moments in every setting life leads me to.
Outside of photography I enjoy spending time with my animals, hiking, traveling, and drawing. I have been working with digital media for over 17 years now, and am happy to be pursuing my passions of graphics and photography again after a break during college.
